Requirements

You need:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree Diploma (in Biotechnology, Biology, Bioinformatics, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Analytics)
  • Transcript of Records
  • Secondary School Diploma
  • Language certificate in English (at least B2 level)

Advantages

IFB’s students attend scientific research conducted by Faculty’s employees within individual laboratory classes (tutoring), which enables them direct contact with scientists. They realize own scientific projects within Student’s Scientific Association BIO-MED, using infrastructure and equipment found in research and didactic laboratories. They participate in Departmental and national competitions like “Future generation” or “Diamond Grant” enabling them realization of own research passion. Faculty organizes special events like “Biotechnology Summer School”, where students can meet and talk with preeminent scientists from all over the world. Students can take part of their study courses and practice under the Erasmus program and bilateral cooperation.

The second level degree courses are predominantly conducted in English, they include lectures, seminars, practical courses and the individual Master’s project laboratory. IFB’ seminars, conducted by visiting professors, are also available.

Employment perspectives

IFB’s graduates have the knowledge and practical skills to work in research units, industry and public services and to start individual business. Graduates choose for the work place modern scientific and diagnostics laboratories. Part of them continue their education on PhD study at IFB. They work also in biotechnological, pharmaceutical and cosmetic’s industries. Knowledge and expertise possessed by graduates of the Faculty in the diagnostics and therapy of human, animal and plant diseases makes them attractive for the employers. They find employment as scientists, modern molecular biotechnology specialists, clinical trial managers, and research project managers.
