On 18th and 19th of April International Office of UG hosted professor Cris Toffolo, PhD, Director of Office of International Programs at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, USA. The guest visited campuses in Oliwa and Sopot as well as European Centre for Solidarity. She also co-led with dr Adam Jagiello-Rusilowski a class with Polish and International (Erasmus Plus) exchange students in which they explored ways of strengthening child’s resilience in the context of human rights abuse. The class looked at innovative ways and uses of (socio)drama and sociometrists to raise awareness of importance of play and cultural competence in building resilience. UG is part of ARTPAD consortium and EU funded project “Achieving Resilience through Play and Drama”.
