On December 14th, at the University of Gdańsk, there was a conference named Study in Pomorskie: Attracting Talents (SIPAT), the aim of which was to exchange experience in internationalization and attracting talent.
The Study in Pomorskie initiative is an agreement for internationalization of Pomeranian academic centers and strengthening of the region’s competitiveness, which includes Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Pomorskiego and eight universities, including the University of Gdańsk.
The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Foreign Cooperation, prof. Piotr Stepnowski, and was led by the Head of the International Office, Adam Jagiełło-Rusiłowski, PhD.
The result of the conference was a wide exchange of experiences and development of recommendations for the Study in Pomerania program in the field of internationalization of the region. This will allow for further improvement of the internationalization level of the university and the quality of service for foreign students.
