UG signed bilateral agreement with Yogyakarta State University in Indonesia

The Rector of University of Gdansk Prof. Jerzy Piotr Gwizdała and The Rector of Yogyakarta State University Prof. Dr. Sutrisna Wibawa, M.Pd, signed a bilateral agreement of cooperation on the  31st  of January 2018. The academic exchange with Indonesia, innovation leader in the region, will include visiting professors, researchers, interns and students. The two universities will cooperate in the fields of interdisciplinary research projects.

The priority will be given to the transfer of good practices in higher education based on innovation pedagogy.  UG leader was invited to Yogyakarta – the most important and oldest academic center in the former capital of Indonesia as part of the INDOPED project funded by the Erasmus Plus program. The team of UG experts in modern academic didactics  are responsible for evaluating the implementation of teaching methods at five universities of Indonesia, such as gamification, innovation camps, hatcheries, tutoring and other forms of empowering inventors and entrepreneurs based on the needs of working life.
